TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. All vehicle access to the Plaza must have prior approval form the Landside Operations Manager.
2. The Plaza has a weight restriction of a 2,000 kg point load. I.e. at the wheel where it touches the pavers or concrete. This does not mean an 8 ton truck can go on the Plaza.
3. If a vehicle weighs more than 3 tons and before any vehicle is allowed to be driven onto the Plaza, the technical specification of the vehicle and if it has a load on top must be submitted for prior approval before it is allowed on the Plaza, you must consider the load in this calculation.
4. All vehicle movements on the Plaza must be escorted by a spotter at all times. It is the contractor’s responsibility to provide a spotter for this purpose. The spotter is required to walk ahead of the vehicle at slow walking pace to ensure safe passage at all times.
5. An authorised vehicle must display the supplied permit on the vehicles dashboard at all times.
6. Vehicles on the Plaza without prior authorisation will be required to be removed immediately may be possibly expiated.
7. Any damage to the pavers, concrete or other AAL property will be repaired by AAL. Costs recovered from the offending vehicle or company owner.
8. 24 hours notice is required for all Plaza Access requests.
